Double RL Ralph Lauren

A veteran Design Director at Double RL for 6 years, I became the go-to team leader taking on new projects and categories as requested by Mr. Lauren. These included tailored suits made in Italy, limited edition leather outerwear pieces, headwear, neckwear, soft accessories, and women’s tailored jackets and outerwear. With my seasoned knowledge and expertise, I possessed the ability to be strategic and problem solve, especially when it came to being creative on executing wet-processing and finishing techniques. Working closely with vendors and partners both domestically and overseas, I was able to push the limits on innovation of our fabric and wash development. I earned the respect of my colleagues, vendors, and counterparts to lead and set an example. My top contributions were my leather outerwear pieces. Mr. Lauren was so impressed with them that they became the standard for all leather outerwear for the entire company.
