In June 2013, as CEO and Creative Director, I founded and spearheaded my corporation to establish a portfolio of brands with a vision towards innovation and ‘doing things different.’ In 2014, I began development of my first brand, #HOOKER. With a stance on equality and focusing primarily on underwear and swimwear product for a niche men’s market, I launched in March 2015. Operating nearly as a one-man-show entrepreneur for over 3 years, I was pushed to the forefront of representing my brand, furthering my experience and value as an industry leader. Here, I refined my ability to lead, direct, manage, problem solve, strategize, analyze and build networks. With sales and customer acquisition being a prime factor in the success of a brand, I embarked on using social media to gain a loyal following and traveled across the country to introduce #HOOKER to prospective customers, storeowners and buyers.
